She initially decides not to go to the hospital, but Fleabag causes a scene which ends the dinner party, and they go to the hospital together.

He feels that Martin doesn’t treat her properly, he also feels that she is unhappy. I like to think that the main idea of the season 2 is - if you really love somebody, you can set him/her free.
