It comes from cannon fodder, which was used in older wars when they would use "expendable" infantry on the front lines to die to cannons/artillery so they would know where it was coming from. The term fodder comes from farms. it's often animal food, so they were essentially "feeding" the cannons. Fodder.

One man's fodder is another man's starter. Just be careful before you start chucking all of your high rated cards into shitty SBCs because someone says they are "fodder".

[Question] It says that the captain takes alot of damage from beast attacks, but I attacked him riding caragor and the captains just instantly killed it with animation. Does the weakness mean that the animal has to attack the captain alone or was I just really unlucky? This as happened to me at least twice.
Jun 22, 2021 · What does this mean? What does "fodder" mean? Like fodder enemies. "Feed". Fodder is feed. If we're talking about enemies as fodder than they may be considered as minions or creeps. Like pawns on a chessboard or easy/ weaker enemies would be my guess given your description.
