Feb 15, 2020 · Use the switchport access vlan command to assign the port or range of ports into access ports. A port in access mode can have only one VLAN configured on the interface which can carry traffic for only one VLAN.

Dec 8, 2023 · You can assign a static-access port to a VLAN without having VTP globally propagate VLAN configuration information by disabling VTP (VTP transparent mode). If you assign an interface to a VLAN that does not exist, the new VLAN is created.
