Jul 27, 2016 · Twenty years ago this week, a bomb exploded in Centennial Olympic Park during the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. However, it wasn't the only attack that happened in the city. The bomber, Eric Rudolph, also left a pair of bombs at a gay bar in 1997. It was called the Otherside Lounge. No one died in the bombing but several were injured.
