THQ Nordic GmbH (formerly Nordic Games GmbH) is an Austrian video game publisher based in Vienna. Formed in 2011, it is a publishing subsidiary of Embracer Group . Originally named Nordic Games, as was the parent company, both companies were renamed THQ Nordic in August 2016 after the parent company had acquired the "THQ" trademark in 2014.

THQ Nordic presented a new digital showcase today full of new trailers and some surprise announcements. Alongside a new Alone in the Dark, THQ announced several new games across different genres including racing, RTS, and more.
A brand new Alone in the Dark survival horror game is on the way. Developed by Pieces Interactive and the writer of Amnesia: The Dark Descent and SOMA, Alone in the Dark is a love letter to the original Alone in the Dark, telling a brand-new story in this Southern Gothic horror.
