As of now, I apparently had to do a "online application for eligible customers for online written test ", but at the end I just ended up making an appointment essentially for either a REAL ID or license which seems weird. Even at the end it didn't give the link to my email to do the proctored test. Seems odd.
All road test appointments are subject to the DriveTest cancellation policy. If you arrive late, fail to show up, or cancel within 48 hours of the appointment, you will lose your pre-paid road test fee.
