If your PRESTO card wasn’t registered to an account when it was lost, stolen or damaged, you can’t cancel your card or transfer your balance. This includes PRESTO in Mobile Wallet cards. Create a PRESTO account and add your card to it to protect your balance.

When you get a chance, the next time you're at a station, try checking your card at one of the ticket vending machines. If the machines can't detect your card, then you should buy a new one. You can transfer over the funds from the old card to the new one online.

Go to a Toronto Public Library and you can get a card for free. Just ask at the front desk. Do not register the card first. You report the card damaged and then transfer the amount on the old one to the new one.
