The Diocese of Pittsburgh has 61 parishes, organized into two vicariates: a North Vicariate and a South Vicariate. The North Vicariate includes 28 new parishes and 2 groupings, under the leadership of regional vicar the Very Rev. Philip Farrell. The South Vicariate consists of 27 parishes, led by regional vicar Very Rev. David G. Poecking.
