  2. Los Angeles County Museum of Art. The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) is an art museum located on Wilshire Boulevard in the Miracle Mile vicinity of Los Angeles. LACMA is on Museum Row, adjacent to the La Brea Tar Pits (George C. Page Museum). LACMA was founded in 1961, splitting from the Los Angeles Museum of History, Science and Art.

  3. Museum Associates, dba Los Angeles County Museum of Art, is governed by a board of trustees which sets policy and determines the museum’s strategic direction. Museum Associates is an exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and is classified as a public charity under section 509(a)(2) of the Internal Revenue Code.
