The Oratory School moved site to Caversham in 1922, taking over the buildings and grounds of Caversham Park. In 1925, The Oratory Prep school opened with four pupils at Rose Hill in Emmer Green near Reading; In 1938, the OPS moved back into the Caversham Park site.
