Its just part 1 and part 2 of one big set. Series 1 has cards 1-250 and Series 2 has cards 251-500. That being said the series do have different inserts like jersey cards. Just different cards. Same product really. Usually they'll put the best rookie in series 1 and the second best in series 2.
