The Feeding Texas network is the largest hunger-relief organization in Texas. Together with 20 member food banks, we reach over 5 million Texans annually with food and resources and engage the state in the fight against hunger.
We leverage statewide resources to mitigate and prevent hunger in Texas.We provide thought leadershipby developing new partnerships, defining standards for our shared work, and examining critical questions about emerging solutions to hunger.We accelerate trajectories of our food bankstowards shared goals by offering best practices, technical assistance, and targeted resources to help them build their capacity.We educate and persuade state and federal decision-makers to help them understand the root causes of hunger and strengthen its public policy solutions.To ensure adequate nutritious food for all Texans, improve the health and financial stability of the communities we serve, and engage all stakeholders in advocating for hunger solutions.
