Ellensburg is a great town. It's close enough to Seattle to get a diverse and inclusive community, access to world class music and culture while also being a very classic small university town. There is great food, excellent community, and a very quaint but vibrant downtown. The university and the town have worked hard to be lgbtqia+ welcoming.
