I do see bands like Specimen, ToH, SDC, UK Decay as goth because they were very much part of the nascent scene, even though no “goth” of the last 30 years sounds like that. And yeah, I don’t regard Type O as being goth (more NYC hardcore scene) but I do think there are two or three songs that sound definitively goth.
