The wiki actually is accurate, but the information is usually misinterpreted. MC PE maps have a MAX size of 32x32 chunks. MC PE only generates 16x16 chunks for some odd reason, leaving a smaller chunks.dat than usual (this is due to missing chunks, i.e. read the information in the first 4096 bytes of the file (the location table) as it tells what chunks are present and which are missing).
