First video game was on the Sinclair ZX81, the very first Kevin Toms Football Manager game back in the early/mid 80's. That device had an unstable RAM box so I quickly upgraded to a Sinclair Spectrum 48K. I kept playing the FM game but the first non-football game I played was called something like Emerald Isle and was a text adventure.

PC games-wise, I remember first playing a demo of Hocus Pocus. Really not sure what my first owned game was but I remember the Quake games being a highlight.

I don't remember what it's called, but the Hound from that game was laughing when you don't get to kill a duck. May 26, 2020 · Super Mario Bros. was the first game I tried out. I have memories of frantically lifting the controller up in the air as I tried to leap over gaps. Looking back I find it strange how little I was interested in Duck Hunt, the lightgun gimmick didn't really interest me until Virtua Cop came along.
