There are a number of reasons. Both getting to and into the parks is much easier at Universal. You don't have to stay at a park hotel to have the absolute best experience. You can visit both Universal parks the same day very easily. The Universal park to park option is the best deal in Orlando theme parks.

Universal Orlando Resort is made up of Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Volcano Bay, and Epic Universe (coming in 2025!). Both Disney vs. Universal have locations in California as well.
