Located in northwestern Riverside County, Eastvale was officially incorporated as a city in 2010. It was primarily a farm community until the 1990s, when it’s population boomed of residents moving into Riverside County for family-focused communities.
The first land grant in what is now Riverside County, Rancho Jurupa, was given to Juan Bandini in 1838. In 1848, with the signing of the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, California became a territory of the United States, and in 1850 California became a state.
On May 2, 1893, seventy percent of voters approved the formation of Riverside County. Voters chose the city of Riverside as the county seat, also by a large margin. Riverside County was officially formed on May 9, 1893, when the Board of Commissioners filed the final canvass of the votes. [16]
