  2. Jun 18, 2023 · The Greenwall Theatre opened in 1903. It had been renamed Palace Theatre by 1920 with Bijou Amusement Company doing a remodel on the theatre in the-1940’s. The theatre seated 1,014. It was located on Dauphine Street at Iberville Street. This was an African American Theatre. The theatre closed in the early-1960’s and has since been demolished.
