Oct 27, 2022 · The Hilton Honors loyalty program will reset its status requirements to pre-pandemic levels in 2023, but high-ranking Diamond members will enjoy one last chance to retain their prized perks for another 12 months. Due to launch in January 2023, the Diamond Status Extension will allow “eligible Diamond members” to stay minted through to 2024.
As before, Members will still achieve Hilton Honors status through stays, nights, or Hilton Honors Base Points. All Points & Money Rewards™ stays and nights will continue to count towards the achievement of Hilton Honors status. Base Points are earned on the money portion spent on a stay, but are not earned on Points redeemed.

Jan 19, 2024 · You can request a status extension from Hilton before your current status expires on March 31, 2024. Simply go to the Diamond status extension landing page and request your extension through March 31, 2025. After making your request, you'll see a message confirming receipt. Hilton will confirm via email whether your request was approved.
