Hackney Wick is an east London station in Travelcard Zone 2. It opened in 1980 on an old line that had originally served the former Victoria Park station, which closed in 1943. Situated just 100m to the west of the Olympic Park, Hackney Wick saw heavy passenger traffic during the London 2012 Olympics, although westbound trains were not allowed to stop at the station due to fears of overcrowding.
Tickets will also be accepted on Southern trains between Crystal Palace and Norwood Junction, and between Norwood Junction and East Croydon.
