Mendon Peak is a mountain located in Rutland County, Vermont. The mountain is a spur off the west side of the Coolidge Range of the Green Mountains, and stands within the Calvin Coolidge State Forest. It is flanked to the east by Little Killington.
The 10th highest summit in Vermont at 3840 feet, Mendon Peak lies to the east of its well known neighbor, and home of popular ski resort, Killington Peak. Mendon Peak is trailess, however it does recieve a fair ammount of traffic as it has a place on the New England Highest Hundred, comming in at #86.

Mendon Peak is the highest peak in Vermont without an official trail. Its a sought out peak for those trying to complete the 100 highest but its a magnificent peak in itself which has a somewhat unspoiled wilderness. For a bushwhack, the summit has great views.
