The Seeing Eye, Inc. is a guide dog school located in Morris Township, New Jersey, in the United States. Founded in 1929, the Seeing Eye is the oldest guide dog school in the U.S., [1] and one of the largest.
Visiting Our Locations. The Seeing Eye has three locations in New Jersey: Washington Valley Campus: Located in Morris Twp, this is our 62-acre main campus where you will find our staff offices, kennels, meeting spaces and residence hall where our students live while training with their new dogs.

Jan 1, 2024 · Finding the initial Nashville location too hot for the dogs, Frank and Dorothy settled on opening their Seeing Eye school in Morristown on November 10, 1931. The positive letters and accolades regarding the new endeavor [the first of its kind in the United States] came in droves, keeping the Morristown Post Office busy.
