The best spot depends on the layout of your room, the size of your tv, and the type of fireplace you have. If you don’t want to mount your tv over the fireplace, the next best options are to place it in a corner or put it on a console table adjacent to the fireplace.
- Think Outside the Box – In a living room with fireplace and tv consider putting a dining table in front of the fireplace instead of your sofa. This might not work for all floor plans, but if you’ve never thought about this as an option, try it.
- Use Opposite Walls – Try setting the TV at the opposite end of the fireplace. In this example, the home has two swivel chairs in front of the fireplace and two sofas that face each other.
