But those results don’t tell the whole story. In testing, we got speeds as low as 12 Mbps and as high as 130+ Mbps on EE and speeds between 5 Mbps and 95 Mbps on O2.

Dec 3, 2022 · Their Download Speed Experience metric showed average EE speeds of 39.0Mbps compared to O2’s 17.3Mbps. According to RootMetrics, the average speeds of each network (combining results of both 4G and 5G) support this data. Their fastest median download speed was recorded in Hull with 82.8Mbps, while their slowest was in Leeds with 37.7Mbps.

Sep 26, 2024 · Winner: O2. Both EE and O2 offer pay-monthly, pay-as-you-go, SIM-only, tablets, laptops, smartwatches and mobile broadband price plans. On a SIM-only basis, the two networks compare favourably on price. When offers are taken out of the equation, O2 tends to offer better value, while EE offers faster data speeds and marginally superior coverage.
