  1. Yes, you definitely should, it ties into the story of Dishonored 2. Plus, the DLCs are pretty cool, so why not.

  2. Aug 6, 2016 · The DLC campaign follows Daud, who was last seen being spared or killed by Corvo for assassinating the empress.

  3. I would suggest finishing every DLC before starting second game. Personally I consider Dishonored to be a quartet consisting of Dishonored 1, D1 DLC, Dishonored 2, and Death of the Outsider. The Knife of Dunwall and The Brigmore Witches serve as a two-part bridge story.

  4. I'd suggest playing them in Low Chaos (specifically), with the first one in order being The Knife Of Dunwall and then followed by The Brigmore Witches. You'll have a better appreciation for some of the events and characters in Dishonored 2 after doing so, imo. Reply. SirCrocodile14.

  5. Sep 16, 2017 · Story DLC for D1 - Absolute yes. If you've enjoyed Dishonored, you'll like it too. Slightly different toolset, fun levels, really fills out the main story. And if you want to play the later installments, you'll want to have played this first. (the other DLC can be skipped mostly, unless you really love challenge rooms)

  6. While the DLC (Knife of Dunwall, Brigmore Witches) are not needed to finish D1 or neccessary to understand what happens in D2, i highly recommend to grab hold on them and grind through them. In the main story you play as Corvo, who avenges the murder of the empress and saves Emily and stuff.
