Wins by the Jaguars on Saturday and the Dolphins on Sunday clinched playoff spots for those two teams in the AFC, while the Seahawks locked up the final spot in the NFC. Here is a look at the final NFL playoff field for 2023:

    1. Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs locked down the No. 1 seed with their victory over the Raiders in Week 18.

    2. Buffalo Bills vs. 7. Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins pulled out a late win against the Jets to claim the final AFC playoff spot and a trip to Buffalo to face the Bills.

    3. Cincinnati Bengals vs. 6. Baltimore Ravens

The Bengals' win against the Ravens in Week 18 ensured a rematch between the division rivals in Cincinnati to open the playoffs.

    1. Philadelphia Eagles

What once seemed to be a foregone conclusion is now anything but. The Eagles have seemingly had the No. 1 seed wrapped up for a while, but that's no longer the case. Philadelphia now needs either a Cowboys' loss to the Commanders or a win against the Giants to seal the first-round bye. The Eagles are still in the driver's seat, but there's more pressure in Week 18 than there might have been two weeks ago.

    2. San Francisco 49ers vs. 7. Seattle Seahawks

The Seahawks are sitting in perhaps the most precarious playoff position of all teams right now. The only NFC wild-card not locked in, Seattle can win on Sunday against the Rams and still be eliminated if the Packers beat the Lions on "Sunday Night Football." The 49ers, meanwhile, find themselves still in contention for the No. 1 seed in the NFC if the Eagles lose to the Giants and San Francisco beats the Cardinals.

    3. Minnesota Vikings vs. 6. New York Giants

There's maybe the least amount of drama surrounding the playoff positioning here. The Vikings can move out of the No. 3 seed only if they win and the 49ers lose to the Cardinals. Otherwise, this playoff matchup will stay exactly as is. The Giants are completely locked into the No. 6 seed, which means they will face either the 49ers or Vikings in the first round.

    • New Orleans Saints. Projected win total: 10.3. Easiest game: Week 12 vs. Atlanta Falcons. Hardest game: Week 9 vs. Chicago Bears. The Saints went 2-0 against the Falcons in 2022 and might do so again this season.
    • Atlanta Falcons. Projected win total: 6.5. Easiest game: Week 10 vs. Arizona Cardinals. Hardest game: Week 4 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars. The Falcons have a Week 11 bye, which may help propel them to a good spot.
    • Indianapolis Colts. Projected win total: 7.5. Easiest game: Week 2 vs. Houston Texans. Hardest game: Week 14 vs. Cincinnati Bengals. The AFC South is not a particularly strong division, and the Colts could take advantage of it.
    • Tennessee Titans. Projected win total: 6. Easiest game: Week 15 vs. Houston Texans. Hardest game: Week 4 vs. Cincinnati Bengals. The opposite of the Colts — Tennessee's last two games come against division rivals.
