The HBO drama "Succession" leads the list of nominees for the 75th annual Emmy Awards, with 27 nominations for its final season. The Emmys will be held on Monday, Jan. 15, 2024, after the awards show, originally scheduled for September, was postponed due to the film and TV writers' and actors' strikes.

The nominations were announced on July 12. HBO tied a record set by NBC back in 1992, with four of its series — critically acclaimed fan-favorites "Succession" and "The White Lotus," along with the video game adaptation "The Last Of Us"  and "House of the Dragon," the "Game of Thrones" prequel — competing for outstanding drama.

The Emmy Awards will be hosted by actor and comedian Anthony Anderson. The three-hour broadcast on FOX begins at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT) Monday night.

The Emmys in creative arts categories were awarded on Jan. 6; see the complete list of those winners here.
