Voices from the Drum was initiated and produced by the Osage Nation Foundation (ONF) and curated by the Osage Nation Museum (ONM). The exhibit is the result of a remarkable community arts initiative of the Osage Nation Foundation.
Jul 26, 2019 · The Foundation debuted the traveling exhibit, “Voices From The Drum,” on June 25 in an air-conditioned tent on the Osage Nation Museum’s lawn with more than 150 people in attendance. The exhibit consists of 19 handmade bison-hide drums, each given to an Osage artist to pour their creativity into – and they did.

Jul 13, 2021 · The visually stunning Voices from the Drum exhibit has finally come to the Osage Nation Museum. The ONM will host an opening reception for the exhibit on Friday, July 23 from 7-9 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. The exhibit will run through March 26, 2022.
Voices from the Drum is a project several years in the making and a collaboration between some of the most talented artists in the Osage Nation. The exhibit has been developed by the Osage Nation Museum and the Osage Nation Foundation specifically to share the Osage culture with those who might not be able to experience it firsthand.

Wah-Zha-Zhi Spirit: A Celebration of Osage History and Culture tells the story of Osage history and culture through objects from the permanent collection and interpretive text. The exhibit showcases themes including but not limited to history, government, warfare and traditional arts.
