Jun 6, 2023 · Breakout was created by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak. When I wanted to do Breakout, none of my engineers wanted to do it, because they thought paddle games were over. So, I got Steve, and I put him on the night shift, because Wozniak was working at Hewlett Packard at the time.
