  3. That's how it's supposed to work. The idea that people see vivid movies in their heads when reading is the Internet misunderstanding what "visualizing what you're reading" means.

  4. I always 'audition' actors for book characters, even if they're nothing like the author describes. If I think of an actor that I think suits the role, I'll go with that. I cast Elisha Cuthbert for a 13 book series, even though the character in the book was a redhead (or brunette, can't remember). Reply reply.
