Contrary to what one may expect, Jung’s personality types (or typology) isn’t a horoscope-like system for character analysis. It isn’t a system to label people. It wasn’t invented to simplify our understanding of people and personality types. Instead, it was invented to demonstrate the complexity of human typology and its consequences.

The most widely influential development of Jung's theory was done by Myers when she created the original MBTI assessment and theory in the 1950s and 60s. Isabel was influenced by her mother, Katharine Cook Briggs, who had already begun developing her own personality system when Jung's book, Psychological Types, was translated into English in 1923.

- INFJ – The Advocate. People with this personality type are serious, logical and hardworking. They are also compassionate, conscientious, and reserved. They value close, deep connections and are sensitive to the needs of others, but also need time and space alone to recharge.
- INTJ The Architect. These people are highly independent, self-confident and prefer to work alone. They are analytical, creative, logical, and driven. They place an emphasis on logic and fact rather than emotion and can be viewed as perfectionist.
