- Post-secondary students enrolled full-time at a recognized institution in Toronto are eligible for a discounted monthly pass on PRESTO. They are required to have a TTC post-secondary student photo ID in order to set their PRESTO fare type, purchase, and use their post-secondary monthly pass on PRESTO.

Student fares, passes and photo IDs. Important fare information for elementary, high school and post-secondary students. There are a few ways you can pay your fare as a youth or post-secondary student travelling on the TTC. PRESTO is the fastest and easiest way to pay.
Adults, youths, post-secondary students and seniors who pay their fare with a PRESTO card, PRESTO in Google Wallet, debit or credit card are eligible for this program, as long as they are travelling between the TTC, GO Transit, Brampton Transit, Durham Region Transit, MiWay and York Region Transit.
