After starting to act in a London theatre club at age 15, Pattinson began his film career by playing Cedric Diggory in the fantasy film Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005). Cedric Diggory is a fictional character in the Harry Potter series of novels by J. K. Rowling. He is introduced in the third book, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, but plays a larger role in the fourth book, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. He is a Hufflepuff student and Quidditch player at the wizarding school Hogwarts.
