Reggie is the main protagonist of the 2023 adult live-action movie Strays.
He is voiced by Will Ferrell who also played Ted Shackelford (The Man with the Yellow Hat) in the Curious George movies, Buddy Hobbs in Elf, The Man Upstairs and President Business in The Lego Movie, Megamind in the film of the same name, Brennan Huff in Step Brothers, Ron Burgundy in Anchorman and its sequel and Brad Whitaker in Daddy's Home and Daddy's Home 2, and Bennett also voices Pip in Enchanted, the titular character in Johnny Bravo, Prowl in Transformers Animated, Petrie in The Land Before Time, Brooklyn in Gargoyles, and Mattel CEO in Barbie.
Reggie is a gullible and idiotic-yet good-hearted Border Terrier living with his selfish owner, Doug. Even though Doug only keeps him to spite an ex-girlfriend, Reggie is under the impression that Doug loves him and does everything he can to make him happy, much to Doug's chagrin.

•Josh Greenbaum (Director of the movie) adopted a young puppy (Reggie in the opening flashback scene), and his kids wanted to name the puppy Reggie after the movie (and the fact the puppy version of Reggie played Young Reggie).

- Will Ferrell as Reggie. Reggie is a Border Terrier who loves just about everything in his life, especially his owner Doug (Forte). Unfortunately, it's blind love, because Doug is a neglectful owner who is constantly trying to get rid of Reggie.
- Jamie Foxx as Bug. Bug is a Boston Terrier stray that shows Reggie the ropes and all the amazing things that can come from being a stray. Bug is suspicious of humans, so he is up for helping Reggie out with his plan.
- Isla Fisher as Maggie. While Australian Shepherd Maggie is not a stray, she often sneaks away from her owner to hang out with Bug, Reggie and Hunter. Her keen sense of smell (even compared to other dogs) is a big help on their journey.
- Randall Park as Hunter. Hunter is a Great Dane who was formerly in training to be a police dog, but now works as a therapy dog in a retirement center. He's a bit nervous and wears a cone, but he still enjoys hanging out with Bug, Reggie and Maggie on their adventures.
