The replacement door glass was fine except for the cleanliness of the assembly with smudges on the inside of the exterior pane where it can't be cleaned. Disappointing to see after installation was completed. The smudges appear to be glove or fingerprints left by the mfg. at assembly.

Cut them to length with a circular saw, and trim them to width with a hand plane. Brush a coat of exterior-grade primer onto all four edges of the sidelights. Apply a continuous bead of acrylic-latex caulk around all four sides of one opening and press the sidelight into place. Reinstall the original stop beads around the inside of the sidelight.
