Oct 7, 2016 · DURHAM — The boards of directors of Lakeridge Health, Rouge Valley Health System, and The Scarborough Hospital have voted to proceed with the integration of the Ajax-Pickering hospital with Lakeridge Health and the amalgamation of the Centenary site with The Scarborough Hospital to form a new hospital corporation.
New four-storey wings were added in 1964 and 1994. A major $80 million redevelopment project was completed in 2010. [1] Almost 25 percent of the hospital was renovated. [2] Management of the site was transferred from Rouge Valley Health System to Lakeridge Health effective December 1, 2016. [3]
