Jul 1, 1982 · Horror film auteur George Romero made this into a pretty cheesy film (good cheesy, not bad cheesy), but what really makes the graphic novel (I'll call it that, even though it's more of an homage to the classic EC horror comics of the '40s and '50s) "Creepshow" isn't the fact that Stephen King wrote the four original stories (although that helps) but Bernie and Michelle Wrightson's awesome artwork.
