Jun 14, 2014 · When Harry's name is pulled from the Goblet of Fire, Cedric doesn't believe Harry when he says he didn't put his name in, however, he remains very civil with Harry and later tells the Hufflepuffs not to wear the "Potter Stinks" badges and to, basically, lay off Harry.
The movies show him laughing at it with his friends, clearly loving the attention, and then telling Harry "oh yeah, I asked them not to wear those lols" when in the books he was much more firmly against it and always GENUINELY kind to Harry.
