I am thinking around 600-700 sqft and I could find many apartments in Quincy (I am mainly thinking of North Quincy/Wollaston) that fit my criteria: Hardwood floors due to my severe allergies and possibly, development of nasal polyps due to me having sinusitis issues. Ample size. Location as NQ hosts a bigger Asian population.
