Still, the early Paramount Pictures logo featured a rough drawing of the peak north of Ogden, which is the majestic mountain that symbolized the new company that would quickly change the whole movie industry.
By the late 1960s, Paramount had refined and simplified its logo again, removing the clouds around the bottom and top of the iconic mountain. The word “Pictures” was also dropped from the emblem. The number of stars in the design was also reduced, although the company didn’t explain why it made this choice.
