   Why does Terraria keep freezing?

   • It's a bit unexpected since Terraria load everything in one go at the start of the game. Storage isn't really used after that except for saving progress. It does that periodically if you have AutoSave turned on. I guess one thing you could try is turning AutoSave off, to see if it still freezes once in a while.

   • It is not Terraria, it is your .NET or your System. Terraria uses .NET and if its faulty or bad, you are going to experience problems. I fixed this issue before, but it looks like your system is the problem. The last time I had an issue like this, where it was impossible to fix, was the computer had to be wiped and a clean install was in order.
