Sep 10, 2021 · No Samsung splash screen, just a blank black screen. This last for about 5 seconds and then it powers off. The standby light flashes twice and then it turns back on to the black blank screen. The cycle continues until I unplug the TV from the outlet. I have bypassed my surge protector and tested in a known good outlet.

May 5, 2023 · If yes, then we know the issue is not a backlight and Samsung considers this a test for the power supply. Next you want to unplug the set again. Reconnect the main board. Connect the power back to your TV and turn it on. The you need a multimeter and measure the voltages on the connector for the main board cable.
