Mar 23, 2021 · recently I am having some issues with downloading files from the opera GX browser. When i do my internet test on Ookla, it said 30 mb download and about 15mb upload, but when i am downloading, it even drops to 300kb, does anyone know any fixes or something to stabilize my internet connections?
They're just for rolling back to those older version. Opera GX is extremely slow. You can try the things listed at https://www.reddit.com/r/operabrowser/wiki/opera/known_issues#wiki_opera_on_windows_is_slow to see if that help. You can safely delete the folders with the old verions.
This issue occurs ONLY on Opera, and when it does occur, any site you use this issue persists. The only fix, on occasion, is to run 2 downloads at the same time. for some reason this speeds up both of them, but ofc then you are still spitting your DL speed by half.
