May 29, 2017 · Although the old profile is still there, it's not the one used by Opera. That's the idea of using/creating a clean profile. What can I do to change that? More or less what you have done before: rename the current profile folder and then rename the old one to the default name. But the main question is: Using a clean profile solved the issue?
The ram limiter doesn't even work for me, if I set it below 1.5 gb my Opera GX just refuses to function, so honestly I might switch back to Firefox or something, because only having music open on YT (not even vids, just music) and a couple of wiki pages and it's taking 1.5 GBs of ram is starting to piss me off

The aftermath is that you cant use the Speed Dial tab until you restart Opera GX. So my question now is, does this work for anybody else and if so can we vote this up for the devs to see and try to fix it since it is just taking up CPU Usage while you are not even using it. Let me know if this helped or if i just talked some non-sense.
