Apr 16, 2020 · [GRAPHICS] [CRASH] tModLoader always crashes when loading Calamity textures and assets. Solution: Hold shift while tModLoader is opening to skip loading mods. Disable Calamity on the mods list and close the game. After reopening the game, open the mods list and enable Calamity, then reload mods. You should be able to play.

Dec 31, 2023 · The computer dying because of this. AU is increasing usage of everything by around 60% (CPU, GPU, RAM). He first: launch Task Manager (need to be opened while playing tmodloader) Second: launch tmodloader. So, when there opened TM, the AU (in TM) never appears and his tmodloader stop crashing from this point.

On the Calamity discord, they said to wait for tModLoader to update, as it "can't handle the graphics of this particle".
