There’s a difference between casting a black person and casting a black person and forcing them to talk with a thick blackcent just to make sure people get it. Right, but the casting of Sirona Ryan is more like the first one. This is literally just casting a trans actress in your video game, and recording her normal speaking voice.
- Severus Snape. Actor: Alan Rickman. “Always”…The word that comes to mind when remembering the cold and mysterious Potions professor. We were almost certain Severus Snape worked for the bad guys, considering he emotionally bullied Harry for years.
- Neville Longbottom. Actor: Matthew Lewis. Not everyone will agree with this one, mostly because Neville Longbottom is a secondary character and serves as comic relief for much of the series.
- Lord Voldemort. Actor: Ralph Fiennes. Ironically, He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named is mentioned more than he appears on screen, yet he is our third-favorite Harry Potter character.
- Hermione Granger. Actress: Emma Watson. Ranked as the fourth top Harry Potter character is Hermione Granger. The one who stands by Harry the most; the Muggle-born who is unashamed of who she is; the smart young witch and cleverest in Hogwarts…
Big Good: Off-screen, he is this for Hogwarts during Deathly Hallows: it's implied by the way he talked that he stood up and took a lot of crap so the other students wouldn't have to, he was the only leader of the DA to remain at school for the entire year, and during the Second Battle of Hogwarts, he was explicitly shown leading an attempt to kill Death Eaters en masse using Mandrakes.

- Minerva McGonagall. Minerva McGonagall is one of the best professors in Harry Potter. Most people agree that she is not only one of the best members of the Hogwarts' staff, but one of the greatest characters in the series.
- Albus Dumbledore. Not only is Dumbledore the headmaster of Hogwarts with an immense and impressive pedigree, but he was both Prefect and Head Boy during his years at the school of witchcraft and wizardry.
- Percy Weasley. Aside from Bill Weasley, his brother Percy is the only other member of the Weasley family to become a Head Boy. Some fans wonder if Ginny Weasley may have become a Prefect or Head Girl at one point, but it is never mentioned in the series.
- Lily Evans. It's somewhat ironic, and maybe a little sad, that both of Harry's parents were Prefects and Head Boy/Head Girl. Lily became Head Girl in her seventh year at Hogwarts.
