Common Core & Program Options. Most program options can be completed as a major or honours degree program. The honours degree requires the completion of a thesis, demonstrating the student’s skill in their chosen discipline. In addition to the five major options, there is one minor available in Computer and Electronics Design.

Admission Requirements. The School of Engineering Science maintains a high quality undergraduate program, and admission is very competitive. Enrolment is restricted to a small number of highly qualified applicants. Successful applicants typically achieve a high standing in Physics 12, Mathematics 12, Chemistry 12 and one other grade 12 course.
