Dec 20, 2022 · If your TV sound is not working as expected, it is likely that the built-in TV speaker is damaged. Sometimes, you may get crackling or popping sounds on your TV or no sound at all. The TV sound normally stops working due to misconfigured audio mode or faulty connection cables.
- Check Your TV Remote Batteries. It goes without saying, you should check the batteries in your Samsung TV remote. It’s possible that your remote batteries have run out of power, and it’s time to replace them with new ones.
- Restart Your TV. It’s possible that because of a software glitch or long use, your TV performance may have gone down, causing the volume problem on your Samsung TV.
- Inspect Your Remote Volume Button. It’s common for the volume button on the remote to get stuck; we’ve experienced it too. Check if your volume buttons are not randomly getting stuck or damaged.
- Disconnect and Reconnect External Devices. On the internet, we have found multiple report s where users were able to resolve a volume issue by disconnecting and reconnecting the external devices.
- Check the volume on your TV. It sounds silly, but sometimes just making sure your TV isn’t muted or set to a very low volume will solve the problem.
