It does depend what you are studying. SFU has one of the best urban programs in the country and has a campus right in Vancouver. I loved that, but I will say if you are looking for that traditional university experience, UBC may be more for you. You can even do some of the Urban SFU programs while at UBC. 9.
Personally I’d recommend going to whatever university is better for your program. SFU puts a lot of emphasis of Liberal arts (like crim) and Business so if your going for something like that you should consider SFU, however if your looking more at STEM there are plenty of universities that put a stronger emphasis on STEM.
